Three young men from 1920s Liverpool are thrown into the dangerous world of crime when they meet a gangster on an ocean liner bound for the U.S. Jimmy, one of the young men, is recruited to become a boxer by an associate of Al Capone, but trouble looms when he gets involved with a hood's girlfriend and the Liverpool guys are implicated in the kidnapping of Capone's son.
